After a great showing at our second district event in Dallas, 7121 finished qualifying in 4th place. We didn't get far in the elimination rounds, but we learned a lot and earned enough district points to qualify for State Championships in 41st place. Our State Championships went well as we completed qualifying in 19th, but were picked first on 8th alliance along with FRC1296 captains from Rockwall, and team 2714 BBQ from Carrolton. We advanced all the way to semifinals and ultimately finished 27th in state points which was just enough to qualify for Worlds. This is the teams second time to advance to worlds (2019), and we hope to show up big! Wish us luck April 17-20 as we competed against the best of the best. It was an exciting weekend as Keller Fusion Robotics advanced to the Semi-Finals and won the Quality Award. We are looking forward to Dallas FIT district event March 21-22 and hope to qualify for Texas State FRC Championship in April. We are thrilled to announce KCAL robotics earned a spot at the Texas BEST championship. The team did a great job running skills challenges on competition morning, and had 3 drivers all match at 670 points each. This score took 1st place in the Cowtown BEST game competition. In addition, the teams marketing division earned 3rd place in the BEST award and will get to compete in the BEST award at state. We hope to see you at the Comerica Center in Frisco December 2nd-4th as we competed with the other advancing teams from Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
